The Life-Death-Life process in EVERYTHING
/Notes from Readings- March 5, 2016
"In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." Albert Camus
Kudos to my clients today...inspiring people navigating many different forms of death. Death of a marriage, death of a cherished personal identity, death of a family structure and the unthinkable... the death of a young daughter at the beginning of her adult life.
Many people know the 5 stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. (Elizabeth Kubler-Ross has written amazing and helpful books on this subject.) Today spirit came through to teach that all beings are in constant movement through this life-death-life cycle. Everything is evolving, and things must die so that new things can be born. When something dies whether a relationship or a person, those involved must go through this cycle. Most of us avoid change to avoid this process. When we avoid change we are stopping life in some way or another. We are dimming our own light or someone else's by staying put because of fear of pain or the grieving process. One of my clients today had a very big Pluto influence in his chart. Pluto is the ruler of death and represents these lessons in everyone's life. The myth of Pluto, Persephone and Ceres is the story of how the seasons came to be on Earth. It teaches that every season is needed for living things to participate in the circle of life. Spring/Birth- Summer/Productivity, Fall/Harvest/Decline, Winter/Dormancy/Death- then the cycle repeats.
The beautiful spirit of the young woman who passed was very active in the reading that I had with her father. Her mother is acutely in the winter season of her grief. She is dormant and still. Her daughter's spirit- I'll call her H- showed me the most beautiful image of her mother as a pitch black form with one tiny illuminated seed deep inside her. I smiled- I told her father that her daughter wants her mother to know that this season will pass in time and that there is a Spring coming. I am so thankful for this beautiful image. We all have seeds in us no matter what the season. We are a part of this beautiful system of cycles called nature. We must never lose hope and remember that Spring is ALWAYS coming.
Thanks H for your beautiful help and presence today!
